Telangana Social Welfare Residential Armed Forces Preparatory Degree College for Women (TGSWRAFPDCW, Bhongir) is one and only college in India which provides Military training to girl students along with their Degree Course (B.Sc/B.Com/BA/IMA). It provides special physical training and UPSC classes to girls from Marginal society to help them crack CDS, NDA or AFCAT exams and also complete their Degree from Mahatma Gandhi University. This college is one of its kind that provides Healthy and Hygienic food and amenities to girl students to reach their Goal.

The uphill battle is to break a gender stereotype and provide equal opportunities for women in the Defence Services. Telangana Government is empowering the young girls from marginalized sections to break the highest ceiling through TGSWRAFPDCW, Bhongir. This Institution provides regular academics of Under-Graduate and Integrated M.A. (Eco-5 Years) courses in affiliation with prestigious Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda and Military Education & Training under retired Indian Defence Officer with retired Army Personnel for appearing UPSC Exams (AFCAT, CDS, NDA& MNS etc.) and SSB Selections to become Commissioned Officers in three Indian Defence sectors viz. Army, Navy and Air-Force.

As this institution is the first of its kind in education sector in the state, all aspiring and eligible candidates from all over the Telangana state are provided an opportunity to apply for admissions in this specialised college.

MISSION Facilitate women empowerment by moulding young lady cadets of the college through development of scholastic competitive edge and transformational personality improvement, in order to sculpt well-rounded individuals, facilitating their entry into the portals of the nation’s military academies, enabling them to be part of the country’s defence service by taking up the profession of arms to defend the sovereignty and integrity of the nation, and effectively contribute to the national cause with pride and valour.
