Telugu is the only language in the Eastern world that has every single word ending with a vowel sound (“AJANTHA BASHA”).
Sri Krishna Deva Raya said “DESA BHASHALANDU TELUGU LESSA” which means “Among the nation’s languages, Telugu is the best”.
For Telugu Language, there is Best Literature (“Sahityam: Hitham tho Kudinadi”), which helps the student’s to Improve their Personality Development and know what is Good and what is Bad.
How Telugu Literature Helps to Students?
It helps to improve Patriotism towards Nation(“DeshaBhakthi”), Social Responsibility (“Samaajika Bhadhyatha”), Ethical values and Morals (“Jeevana Viluvalu”).
Literature tells u about Poetry, Prose, Novels, Biographies of Famous Personalities etc.
We can feel the Essence of Language through the poet’s view from their poems.
So, we all are proud to born as a Telugite.

ACTIVITIES
The cardinal co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the Department conducted like Class room Seminars, group discussions, quizzes, debates, JAMs, extension work, education field trips, etc., for the benefit of both the student. Extension, guest lectures and invited lectures are some of the important activities of the faculty for achieving quality education. The Department of Telugu has its own contribution in organizing cultural activities “Maathru Bhasha Dinoschavam” (Mother Language Day), “Sankranthi Sambaralu” (Pongal Celebrations) reflecting the true spirit of Telugu people.
